EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The Finance Associate will support operational purchasing processes across all categories in over 100 SAP affiliates, with a focus on the Supplier Global Master Data process. This role also acts as a support contact for strategic and local purchasing, and serves as an interface to Finance & Accounting.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position collaborates closely with various teams, including SAP Procure Travel Pay (PTP), Global Procurement Organization (GPO), Tax Teams, Treasury, IT, and other stakeholders involved in the end-to-end Procure Travel Pay process.

Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Data Management
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end supplier onboarding process.
- Manage and oversee new supplier onboarding and registration processes.
- Maintain accurate records of existing suppliers.
- Ensure master data records are accurate, timely, and consistent across global systems.
- Uphold compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Complete tasks within the team's Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators.
- Address inquiries from end users, lines of business, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Proactively identify issues and use professional judgment to implement resolutions.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data processes and systems.
- Support organizational automation initiatives.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with all requirements, including local tax and legal rules.
- Deliver all regular Global Master Data (GMD) activities in a high-quality and timely manner.
- Actively engage in PTP (Procure-to-Pay), GFS (Global Finance Success), and Manila location initiatives, activities, trainings, and projects.
- Detail-Oriented: Maintain high levels of accuracy in data management.
- Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective communication to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Adapt to changing processes and priorities in a global environment.
- Data Integrity: Show a strong commitment to data integrity, minimize fraud attempts, and comply with internal standards and regulations.
- Proactive Mindset: Identify and implement process improvements proactively.
- Minimum upper-intermediate written and spoken English
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- A minimum of 3-5 years in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with SAP systems and tools, such as SAP GUI, MDG-S, and Ariba.
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or a global role.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives.
- Experience with Accounts Payables and payments processes is a plus.
