Who are we looking for?

We're seeking for Facade Designers to join our Structures - Modelling and Documentation team who are keen to develop complex façade systems to meet increasingly industry demands for all design, documentation, administration, and compliance for projects undertaken by the facades team.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Collaborate closely with GHD clients and provide specialist input during design and tender phases of projects to resolve technical problems and ensure quality of services.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, Fire and Life Safety, Façade Access, Project Management, etc.
• Use AutoCAD, Rhino and Revit to communicate intent and prepare facade design documentation.
• Design and detailing of various façade systems and cladding types involving different materials and systems to meet the complex facade demands of the project.
• Prepare design reports for design stages.
• Provide practical advice on buildability and façade construction processes.
• Responsible for project drafting compliance with the Company’s procedures, work instructions and goals and client requirements.
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Façade Design, preferably with a mix of consultancy and contracting experience.
• Experience working in the UAE is essential.
• Experience working in the office and on site.
• Expert in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Sound knowledge in façade systems and design and relevant codes and standards.
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally within a complex matrix organization.
• Experience in forming strong and collaborative relationships with team members across different regions and focus areas.
  
  

This job offer can be based either in Makati or our office in Quezon City, depending on your home base/location.

Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
