Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Makati

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary Range: PHP 100,000 PHP 140,000

  • Supervise and review financial transactions, including disbursement slips, receipt slips, transfer slips, billing confirmations, goods receipt confirmations, and goods issue confirmations, to ensure accuracy, validity, and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement effective monitoring tools to ensure full compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks associated with penalties and unnecessary expenses.
  • Provide timely and relevant financial insights to business units and senior management to support strategic decision-making and continuous business improvements.
  • Perform various accounting, taxation, and treasury functions as required.
  • Extend support to affiliated group companies, particularly SCMB, ensuring compliance with accounting, taxation, and other regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)


Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation.


Key Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Philippine regulatory frameworks, including compliance with agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor and Employment, Bureau of Customs, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and other relevant government entities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, as well as accounting software, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, with strong articulation and communication skills.


Position Title: Finance Manager

Salary: 100,000 - 120,000

Location: Bonifacio Global City (BGC)

Work Setup: On-site, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of year-end financial audits and corporate financial control reviews; collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely year-end reporting and closing.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to maintain accurate records.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts, adhering to the monthly closing schedule.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop and oversee annual and multi-year budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements, and prepare periodic budget forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and regulations for all relevant entities.
  • Handle vendor payments, check requests, and employee reimbursements efficiently.
  • Respond to inquiries related to budgets, deposits, disbursements, and grant deposit requests.
  • Generate financial and accounting reports for presentation to management or the board.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accountancy; must hold a CPA license.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for managerial roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP accounting software.
  • Industry Advantage: Experience in mall or property management is an added advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in delivering presentations effectively.
  • Work Location: Must be willing to work onsite in BGC.
