The duties and responsibilities of an Execution Trader include:

  • Executing trading orders in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Monitoring and managing trading portfolios in real-time
  • Negotiating trade details with other parties
  • Working closely with clients and sales traders to understand and meet their trading needs
  • Researching and analyzing market trends and financial data
  • Implementing trading strategies to maximize profits and limit losses
  • Complying with financial regulations and maintaining detailed records of trades
  • Communicating effectively with the trading team and other stakeholders
  • Keeping up to date with financial market news and events that might affect trading activities
  • Identifying and managing potential risks and opportunities in the market
