Role: Director of Engineering

Minimum requirements:

• Engineering Degree
• Minimum of 10 years Façade or Structural Engineering Experience in a Consultancy
• Familiar with relevant codes and standards related to Facades and or Structures
• Local Philippines network
• Ability to close deals
• Excellent problem solving skills

We're looking for a motivated and strategic Director of Engineering who can operate at Executive Level to spearhead our growth efforts and build lasting relationships in the Façade/Structural and related Building Engineering fields.

Role Overview: As an Engineering Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This position demands a blend of technical understanding and business acumen, ensuring that our engineering solutions meet market needs while also achieving our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure alignment between business strategies and product development. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings. Attend industry conferences, meetings, and other events to promote our engineering solutions and build a strong professional network. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners. Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to our customers.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or an MBA is a plus. Proven track record of at least 5-10 years in business development in an engineering consultancy environment, or a related field within the engineering industry. Strong technical background with an ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to travel on occasion to meet business objectives.
