Betterteam is a profitable SaaS company that helps small businesses hire faster with a simple Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Support and renewal revenue are solid; now we're ready to build our first dedicated outbound sales team to win new customers. Your mission: hire, coach, and scale a group of "hunters" to build a pipeline and close new ARR while Customer Success handles existing accounts.

- Hire, coach, and develop 5-10 SDRs/AEs; run weekly 1-on-1s, live-call reviews, and clear career paths.
- Design the outbound engine - comp plans, territories, activity targets, forecasts, and the playbook that stitches it together.
- Run a multi-channel process (phone, email, LinkedIn) aimed at SMB owners and HR managers.
- Own the stack (HubSpot CRM/Close.com, Apollo sequences, Aircall dialer, plus any tool that 10×'s productivity).
- Drive team KPIs - meetings booked, qualified pipeline, new ARR - and celebrate team wins, not personal heroics.
- Fix process fast - listen to calls, tweak messaging, clean data; if something's broken you're empowered to fix it.
- Work cross-functionally with our growth crew for lead lists and content, and with Product for fast feedback on prospect needs.
- 5+ years leading outbound sales teams for B2B SaaS, ideally selling to SMB buyers.
- Proof you've got results through other people: reps you coached hit quota and stuck around.
- Comfortable designing comp plans, territories, and rolling forecasts (Excel/Sheets is fine).
- Pride in team success over individual numbers - you won't jump on a deal just to grab the close.
- Hands-on with at least one engagement platform (Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, etc.) and a mainstream CRM.
- Direct, clear communicator; plain talk beats jargon.
- Happy to work US hours; entire team is remote across PH.
- Real numbers, not mystery math: HubSpot is already accurate and live. You see pipeline and activities on day one - no spreadsheet archaeology.
- Stable comp plan: Commission targets are locked for the year. We won't move the goalposts halfway through.
- Focus that stays put: Our ICP is small businesses. Leadership is committed to that segment for at least the next 12 months, so your playbooks stay useful.
- Tools you actually need, already budgeted: HubSpot, Apollo, Aircall, Reachdesk - plus a small "pick your weapon" allowance if something else boosts productivity.
- Clean hand-offs: New business is yours. Renewals are Customer Success. Support owns tickets. No hidden extra jobs.
- Hiring budget is real: Cash is set aside to add up to 10 SDRs/AEs this year (and back-fill fast). No bait-and-switch freezes.
- Outcome-first culture: We track meetings, qualified pipeline, and closed ARR - never "dials for the sake of dials."
