HIRING – DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER

Job Brief:

Our company is looking for a Principal Consultant AND Developer for Teradata who will deliver innovative solutions to data asset challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of complex BI projects from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to high quality standards and budget constraints.
• Perform data analysis, visualization, and reporting with advanced tools like SQL, Python, and R, providing actionable insights that enhance business value.
• Design and develop scalable data architectures, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to facilitate efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of large datasets.
• Coach, mentor, and guide members in their professional development, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices within the BI industry, utilizing this knowledge to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific business needs and objectives, translating those insights into actionable data strategies that yield measurable results.
• Manage data warehouses and data lakes.
• Develop and deploy data pipelines.
• Work with other IT teams to ensure the integration of our DW solution with other systems.
• Provide training and support to users.
• Conduct presentations of the proposed solution
• Prepare required solution proposal and bidding compliance.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information management or equivalent

● 3-5 years of experience in database warehousing with proven expertise in designing and implementing data-driven solutions using modern technologies such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.

● Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional, fact-less, star schema), ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into layman's terms for non-technical clients.

● Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion, managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

● Experience in coaching, mentoring, and guiding junior consultants in their professional development.

● Preferably with Cloud provider certification: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Digital Cloud Leader
