Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient data processing across systems.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, provide technical leadership, and contribute to key decision-making.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Python development and data engineering solutions.
  • Develop solutions for complex data challenges and implement data architecture designs.
  • Optimize machine learning workflows and statistical analysis using advanced algorithms.
  • Utilize orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Azure Data Factory for automated data workflows.
  • Manage data integration using Big Data platforms and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Python programming with expertise in data processing frameworks.
  • Proficiency in PySpark, including Spark SQL, DataFrames, and RDDs.
  • Experience working with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, and Flink.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (Data Lake, GCP, Azure, BigQuery).
  • Strong knowledge of data formats (JSON, CSV) and version control tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning models such as regression, decision trees, and clustering.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with data cleaning, transformation, and normalization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills.
