Your Role

As a Customs Operations Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible in handling all customs operations matter by providing accurate data and customs clearance documents which are to be available in the system.
• Chasing and completing all customs clearance documents in a timely manner using Expedient workflow.
• Sending of Telex release confirmations and follow-up from overseas agent using Expedient reports.
• Management of mailbox in a timely manner and ensure all items are uploaded in Expedient system.
  
  

Relationship

• This position directly reports to Shared Services Centre Philippines Team Leads.
• This will also liaise with fellow SSC staff members including but not limited to Custom's broker in AU and overseas agent.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (license holder is a plus).
• Has experience working in a brokerage company with wide knowledge in customs laws and procedures.
• Has high level management skills in terms of understanding the urgency and able to determine what are the priority task need to take action on a daily basis.
• Has a high level verbal and written communication skills that will enable the overseas agents, clients and brokers understand what is required.
• Preferred to have an experience in using Expedient Software, MS Outlook and other MS Office products.
• Preferably has a high level skills of safe keeping current and archive records in case needed.
