Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing proactive engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities-based decisions are taken on a good financial business case which can and will be followed upon.

Finance SSC > Controlling and Reporting > SBU Inventory & Service Controlling – SBU II

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and consolidate Service Monthly Performance Reporting
  • Partner with Service Operations to ensure the finance aligns with the operational expectations
  • Assist with the budget preparation process
  • Support month-end close activities related to service financial reporting
  • Monitor revenue and cost for Service
  • Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Adhere to Euro SOX compliance requirements
  • Assist the BPM team and Service Operations on various cost reduction initiatives such as crane cost, inventory turnover, transport cost, and the like
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to perform basic controlling tasks on Service Contracts as needed such as revenue and cost recognition and forecasting, oversight of the availability of Bonus/Liquidated Damage process
  • Assist the Service Finance teams with ad-hoc projects and assist prepare management reports if needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
  • At least 5 to 7 years of Business Controlling or financial analysis experience
  • Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced in using SAP ERP system
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • The capacity to adjust and respond to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and building smart well-organized spreadsheets
  • BPO/Shared Service experience is a valuable asset

Competencies

  • Exposure to data quality management and keen to accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation, and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
  • Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite computer skills and macros is an added advantage
  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
  • Has strong agility to learn new and complex processes for migration
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in an intense environment
  • Excellent in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspires to professional growth
  • Able to navigate in SAP ERP system,
  • Ability to coordinate complex priorities and meet deadlines
  • Regular and reliable attendance
