About The Role

This role reports to the AAI Head of Legal and will support Advance AI’s businesses in the Philippines. Your day-to-day will involve commercial contracts, regulatory matters, tech product advisory, data and privacy matters, and general legal advisory work.

You Will

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements with clients, partners, outsourced vendors and service providers
• Advising on M&A, assisting on due diligence, and reviewing, drafting, and negotiations of M&A documents.
• Advising the leadership team on licensing and regulatory matters
• Liaising with regulators on licensing matters, structuring company organization and processes to comply with regulations.
• Providing practical and commercial advice on product, privacy, and data matters.
• Setting up and refinement of company processes
• Support Advance AI Regional Head of Legal for any strategic initiatives
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• > 8+ PQE from a mix of in-house and private practice. Practice areas: M&A, TMT, Financial Services
• Called to the Philippines bar
• Industry experience in technology, financial services, banking, payments or fintech
• Experience dealing with regulators, especially credit bureau matters
• Experience in technology related matters. Interest in data products, AI products, and familiar with the latest legal issues in technology.
• Able to independently handle commercial contract drafting and negotiation
• Excited about a start-up environment and driving positive changes in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
