Main Purpose of Job

Responsible for ensuring that all employees of Nestle Nutrition Philippines discern and adhere to the objectives of the WHO Code, the Milk Code of the Philippines (EO51) and its implementing rules and regulations, the Nestlé Instruction, and the NN local Policy and Procedures Manuals on acceptable promotional activities.   

Key Outputs

  • Ensure that all Nestle Philippines employees, contractual employees, distributors, agencies, third-party providers and all other stakeholders involved in promotional activities of infant formula manufactured by Nestle Philippines Inc., are knowledgeable and adhere to the WHO Code, the Milk Code of the Philippines (EO 51) and its implementing rules and regulations, the Nestlé Instruction, and the NN local Policy and Procedures Manuals on acceptable activities through:  
    • Training of new hires  
    • Refresher courses for others, at least once a year for employees involved in the marketing, promotion and sale of infant formula products and less frequently for others.  
    • Training of all third-party stakeholders involved in the above-mentioned activities. 
    • Updating the deputized Milk Code Trainors
  • Manage approval process for Sponsorships and Post event documentation and maintenance of Automated Approval platform.
  • Resolve non compliance and alleged code violations with complete documentation.
  • Assist in the cross-functional quarterly WHO Code Compliance Committee meetings and other relevant meetings. 
  • Ensure market readiness and assist in all external/internal audits on Milk Code compliance.
