Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key partner to our executive team. Based in our Makati City office with a hybrid work arrangement, the CFO will be responsible for the overall financial stewardship of the company.
This critical leadership role ensures sound fiscal management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support our company's growth and sustainability.
The CFO also holds the official Corporate Treasurer responsibilities, including attendance at board meetings and signing of official corporate documents.
Work Location: Makati, Ph
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3x/week
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Direct all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to drive strategic initiatives and long-term sustainability.
- Policy & Tax Optimization: Provide expert guidance on cost control, tax efficiency, and policy to align with legal requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, filings, and compliance with Philippine laws, including BIR, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending strategies to mitigate risk and optimize profitability and cash flow.
- Corporate Governance & Treasury: Fulfill the duties of Corporate Treasurer, attend board meetings, sign corporate documents, and support capital structure decisions.
- Internal Controls & Audit: Establish and monitor internal controls and oversee internal and external audits to ensure operational integrity.
- Executive Decision Support: Provide actionable financial insights to the leadership team on major business decisions, investments, and policy direction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting teams, ensuring effective execution of all financial operations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting, with at least 2–3 years in a management role.
- Strong familiarity with Philippine tax laws, BIR/SEC compliance, and general corporate governance.
- Robust working knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, and budget management.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and support executive leadership in financial decision-making.
- Experience in a mid-sized company or professional services/IT consulting industry is preferred.
- Exposure to strategic planning while maintaining a hands-on approach to finance operations.
