Job Summary
- The Treasury Support Officer primarily assists the Department Head in non-sales support for Treasury Group in the areas of regulatory compliance, records management, business continuity planning, and others.
- Assists the Department Head in performing his tasks as Treasury Group’s Deputy Compliance Officer, Deputy Operational Risk Officer, Business Information Officer, Business Continuity Program Leader, Group Planning Officer and Consumer Assistance Officer
- Assists the Department Head in the monitoring of compliance with laws, rules and regulations, including results of examination of regulatory bodies and internal/external audit
- Performs budget preparation and monitoring activities such as, but not limited to, assisting the Treasury Group Planning Officer in the preparation of the expense budget of the various Segments of Treasury Group and monitoring actual versus budget expenses
- Provides support in rationalizing operating expenses (including capital expenses) and in monitoring expenses on an ongoing basis
- Provides support to Treasury Sales on creation of CIF of its clients
- Assists the Department Head in safekeeping records (softcopies and/or hardcopies) maintained by Treasury Group and maintaining inventory database of records
- Coordinates closely with Treasury Heads on business continuity initiatives.
- Works closely with Treasury Heads on IT, technology, logistics and MIS needs of the Treasury Group.
- Graduate of a 4-year business course
- Knowledge in banking operations, and applicable banking laws and regulations
- Experience in banking operations and/or audit of banks or other financial institutions
