Job Description:
- Design and develop robust data models and data architectures to support business requirements
- Utilize SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) to create and maintain multidimensional and tabular model
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models
- Optimize and tune data models for performance and scalability
- Provide expertise in data modeling best practices and standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of data models into the overall data architecture
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) for multidimensional and tabular modeling
- Strong background in data warehouse design, including dimensional modeling
- Experience in optimizing and tuning data models for performance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Knowledge of SQL queries and other relevant data engineering technologies
