Business Development - Technical support

Purpose Of Position

The primary role of this position is to provide high quality repair and preventative maintenance services for all Hach brands equipment to increase customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Essential Functions

• Use established ISO work instructions to provide repair, calibration, certification and preventative maintenance services for all Hach brands equipment.
• Trouble shooting by email or call
• Provide service training to distributor’s service engineers and to customer.
• Contribute to strategy in building Hach reputation as a manufacturer with the best technical & service support.
• Special focus on powerplant, municipal customer, providing service and increasing spare parts sales.
  
  

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Diploma in electronics, mechatronics, electrical or equivalent.
• Proven customer interaction skills
• Good computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
• Ability to work safely around electrical and mechanical hazards.
• Willingness to work with products returned from industrial and wastewater sites (protective inoculations available).
• Minimum 3-year experience working as a Service Engineer. Experience in servicing water analytical instruments is an advantage.
• Those with more years of relevant experience many be considered for Senior Service Engineer post.
