Primary Job Responsibility

Responsible for revenue generation through account retention, expansion of existing accounts, and recovery of accounts that did not close from previous contracts.

Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and controlling their respective departments or units; helps establish objectives and strategies to ensure corporate and departmental business plans and quality objectives are met. Organizes value-adding activities, allocates adequate resources to achieve targeted goals, implements control to manage risks, and ensures compliance. Manages direct reports and utilizes metrics to assess their actual performance, institutes specific developmental interventions to bridge performance gaps, and/or implements disciplinary measures based on consequences.

General Responsibilities

Revenue Generation and Account Management:

  • Ensure revenue generation through retention of existing accounts and acquisition of new accounts.
  • Recover accounts that did not close from previous contracts.

Planning And Strategy

  • Plan, organize, manage, and control the department to meet business plans and quality objectives.
  • Develop objectives and strategies for the department.

Team Management

  • Supervise and manage direct reports, ensuring they meet performance metrics.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Institute specific developmental interventions or disciplinary measures as needed.

Operational Oversight

  • Organize value-adding activities and allocate resources to achieve goals.
  • Implement controls to manage risks and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Client Interaction And Negotiation

  • Conduct meetings with clients and agents.
  • Assist account officers in negotiations and obtaining management’s approval for proposals.
  • Sign renewal proposals and ensure SLAs are met by all staff.

Reporting And Analysis

  • Update sales reports and submit them to the Assistant Vice President.
  • Observe, analyze, and review account officers' sales renewal and performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist account officers in handling difficult concerns and cases.
  • Cascade new internal policies and guidelines to the account officers.
  • Conduct sales presentations as required by top management.
  • Collaborate with intermediary sales regarding the renewal strategies of their accounts.
  • Conduct inter-departmental meetings in coordination with AMS.
  • Assign staff to conduct special projects.
  • Recommend strategies and activities to top management to help renew existing accounts.

Skills And Requirements

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related course.

Experience

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
