Job Purpose

Responsible for the analysis and generation of weekly, monthly and long-range forecast based on baseline trending, marketing and sales initiative and market trends. Ensures that forecast accuracy and bias is within target.

Demonstrate mastery of handling complexity and navigating trade-offs to support the Business Unit (BU). A master of demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), this role translates insights and collaborates to ensure cross functional inputs to the creation of the forecast.

They are a citizen data scientist that can use and interpret data to derive a central forecast that is unbiased accurate and aligned. Through Influence they are master orchestrators and storytellers using numbers as their language. This role will be working hand in hand with Demand Planner (L2) that will help with the data preparation.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Owns the Beauty & Wellbeing volume forecast & Accountable for delivering an aligned, unbiased & accurate forecast.
  • Leads forecast discussion for Beauty & Wellbeing and provides relevant management information during local and regional S&OP

  • Leads monthly Demand Review Meeting (DRM) with Brand and CD to identify sales opportunities and bridge the gaps
  • Co-lead in the Weekly Demand and Supply meeting to manage changes in demand, optimize use of company resources and ensure best in class customer service
  • Uses FEU as key tool in generating baseline forecasts and analyzing trends based on secondary sales
  • Story telling - Understand 100% and explain to the local business unit team the composition/assumptions of the volume forecast.
  • Bring together stakeholders' groups to orchestrate trade off decisions to drive business performance.
  • Partner with L2 in reviewing Forecast KPIs and closing gaps. Drives the improvement agenda.
  • Leads the Collaboration with Cross Functional teams to deliver the input-led volume forecast in S&OP.
  • Drive Plan-by-exception as a rule within the S&OP utilizing full benefits of technology.
  • Monitor adherence to forecast inputs and key metrics & drive the improvement agenda.
  • Support portfolio management and segmentation.
  • Drives end to end simplification through SKU rationalization.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences (preferably IE, Management Engineering, Math or Statistics major)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning
  • Familiar with SAP functionalities
  • Must have a full understanding of the Demand Planning tools (FEU, Kinaxis) and KPIs
