About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bank Reconciliation Specialist (Intercompany Accounting) to join our Finance team onsite at our Makati office. In this role, you will support the Record to Report (RTR) function by ensuring the accuracy of financial data, driving month-end close activities, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

What You’ll Do

Cash and Banking

• Perform Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure the bank balance is tied to the book balance daily.
• Monitor daily cash open, reconciling items, and ensure the action plan and action owners are properly identified.
• Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and flag unusual or suspicious activities.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and support month-end closing activities.
  
  

Intercompany

• Maintain intercompany accounts - Intercompany AR and AP, and Equity Accounts.
• Record Intercompany Transactions on a daily basis.
• Assure no out-of-balance between intercompany entities.
• Clean up historical out-of-balance transactions.
• Record Intercompany loans and interest.
• Perform the Intercompany month-end closing.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA license is an advantage, but not preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in an RTR or shared services environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) and financial reporting principles.
• Has solid and extensive experience handling cash accounts.
• Has solid and extensive experience in Bank Reconciliation and Intercompany Accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
