Audit Manager

About the role

As an Audit Manager at Aca Group of Companies , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's internal audit processes. This full-time position, based in Pasig City Metro Manila, is responsible for ensuring the organisation operates in compliance with industry standards and best practices.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management procedures, and compliance with regulations
• Lead audit engagements from planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and action plans to address any identified issues
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and provide ongoing support to the business to address control weaknesses
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the company's audit function, including the development of policies, procedures, and best practices
• Mentor and train junior members of the audit team, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within the accounting industry
• Professional certification in accounting or auditing, such as CPA or CIA, is highly desirable
• Thorough understanding of international auditing standards and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring audit teams
• Proficiency in using audit software and data analytics tools
