The Opportunity at a Glance
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Bookkeeper (NDIS) to support the finance function of an Australian disability services provider. This is a full-time, remote role for Philippine-based candidates, employed under a proper PH setup.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong Xero experience and prior exposure to NDIS or Australian healthcare bookkeeping. You’ll manage daily transactions, payroll, BAS lodgements, and financial compliance to help the team stay organised, compliant, and audit-ready.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Manage all day-to-day financial transactions in compliance with Australian accounting standards
Process payroll, calculate wages, superannuation, and PAYG tax accurately and on schedule
Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, and other regulatory requirements
Handle accounts payable and receivable including invoicing, payments, and follow-ups
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate categorisation of financial entries
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
Keep financial records organised for audits and compliance checks
Support the team with data entry, reporting, and finance-related admin
What We’re Looking For - You’re the Perfect Fit if You:
Have proven experience of 4 years in bookkeeping or finance roles within the NDIS or healthcare sectors (non-negotiable)
Are highly proficient in Xero (non-negotiable) and Microsoft Excel
Understand NDIS invoicing, financial reporting, and claims processes
Have a strong grasp of Australian BAS, GST, and payroll compliance requirements
Can manage financial operations independently with minimal supervision
Are highly organised, detail-focused, and responsive to financial queries
What Sets You Apart - You’ll Shine Even Brighter With:
Previous experience working remotely for Australian clients
Familiarity with NDIS audit preparation and claims reconciliation
A background in finance support roles within small or medium-sized businesses
A bookkeeping certification or degree in accounting or business
Work Schedule & Employment Terms
Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Remote role for Philippine-based candidates
