Data Analyst (Philippines)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power BI Analyst with hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, analyze datasets from diverse sources such as Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, and Data Pipelines, and develop scalable, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. Your ability to ensure data quality, model information effectively, and stay up to date with evolving tools within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem will be key to your success.

Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5PM EST or 9 AM to 6PM EST or 10 AM to 7 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from various sources within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, and Data Pipelines.
• Build robust and user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize trends, KPIs, and business metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights aligned with strategic goals.
• Use Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service to develop and publish scalable and optimized reports.
• Clean, transform, and model data using Power Query, DAX, and Fabric-native tools.
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reports.
• Document report logic, metrics definitions, and data lineage for transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with updates to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, adopting best practices and new features.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role.
• Hands-on experience working with data in Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, or Pipelines).
• Strong skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, normalization).
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
