Your Role:

Billing & Collection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Billing & Collection Specialist to join our team. The Billing & Collection Specialist role will handle invoicing, crediting, and collecting payment transactions.

Billing & Collections Specialist Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the billing process, including generating and sending invoices to customers accurately and promptly
• Ensure the accuracy of invoices to avoid discrepancies and disputes by thoroughly reviewing invoices
• Serve as the main point of contact for billing questions and disputes
• Ensure cash applications are processed in an accurate and timely manner
• Follow established and evolving procedures and make recommendations to improve efficiencies and processes
• Responsible for collections on all current and past due balances by engaging with customers via email
• Making follow up emails for past due balances in a professional, time-efficient manner
• Document daily collection activity
• Meet monthly collection goals
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, perform customer account reconciliations, and resolve customer inquiries
• Participate in regular collections meetings providing updates such as problem accounts and successes
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and prevent future collections challenges
• Prepare regular reports on collections activities, outstanding balances, and trends
• Maintain and update customer information, including contact names, emails, phone numbers, etc.
• Assist in month-end close, including certain reconciliations to ensure proper and complete capture of revenue, credit memos, and other month-end close duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications for Billing & Collections Specialist

• Two-year degree with a specialization in accounting or finance preferred
• 2+ years of billing experience
• NetSuite experience is a plus
• Amenable to work night shift in BGC, Taguig
