A leading multinational organization is looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations across Philippine entities and a regional counterpart. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong leadership and reporting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Support the Finance Controlling Manager in managing:
    • Month-End Close
    • Management & Statutory Reporting
    • Accrual Accounting
  • Treasury, Banking & Legal Administration
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting under US/PH GAAP and IFRS
  • Coordinate with Shared Services and internal/external stakeholders
  • Prepare and review journal entries and financial reports
  • Lead statutory audits and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines
  • Review and approve non-PO invoices, reimbursements, and cash advances under Php50k

Cash & Working Capital Management

  • Administer intercompany loans and agreements
  • Prepare cash forecasts and conduct variance analyses
  • Analyze foreign exchange impact (realized and unrealized)
  • Oversee fixed asset counts and petty cash control


People Management

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 3 finance professionals
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Drive team performance and development goals


Integrity & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with corporate integrity standards and internal policies
  • Uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) practices
  • Participate in risk assessments, incident reporting, and process audits


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Background in a large, multinational corporate environment
  • High ethical standards and strong attention to detail


Skills Required

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Broad experience in accounting operations, audit, and compliance
