JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Has background knowledge in QuickBooks Online, MS Office Excel, and related software
  • Proven experience as an accounting personnel or related role for more than a year
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team -- has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Ensuring that financial records match bank statements and other external documents through regular reconciliations.
  • Keep information confidential to secure with regular database backups and handle scanning of all audit documents.
  • Monitoring of accounts receivables and advances from customers and sales and does Collection Reports Preparation.
  • Assists in daily checking of receiving reports and follow-up collection of payments
  • Compute and prepare accounts payable voucher/check voucher.
  • Checking of delivery receipts for scheduled deliveries to customers.
  • Manages daily sales and expense reports and maintains the filing system of the department
  • Generates a report of sales and accounts receivable monthly.
  • Organizes bookkeeping of the sales invoice and filing of check vouchers.
  • Manage office supplies and procurement process.
  • Research vendors, create purchase orders, and track orders.
  • Control the end-to-end process of invoice related activities
  • Monitor and archive documents related to invoices
  • Update the inventory of available supplies and materials; create requests and purchase needed supplies from different departments
  • Create purchase orders and ensure the accuracy of information such as pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
  • Assist in the procurement process by researching vendors and obtaining quotes.
  • Assists in processing and renewal of documents of truck insurance and registration
  • Other tasks that Management may assign from time to time are relevant to the job position.
