Accountant

Work hours: Monday to Friday 11AM to 8PM local time in Makati City - to support our partner GetGround in the UK. We come to the office 5 days per week given we are a startup hub.

Who we are

Terranova Philippines Support Services Inc. (“TPSSI”) is a team of currently 25 colleagues (and growing!) that was formed to support our UK-based partner, GetGround.

TPSSI operations are led by Mike (Makati) and Dan (UK) and you will work closely with both on a daily basis. We are expanding the team significantly.

What you will do

• Support Junior Accountants in the preparation of year-end accounts.
• Prepare year-end financial accounts and corporation tax returns
• Resolve any client queries and gain client approval
• Working with the Accounting Manager, delegate and reviews tasks
• Support the Accounting Manager to deliver world-class client service

Your skills and experience

• Accounting degree
• 2+ years of accounting-related work experience
• 6+ months experience in preparing and reviewing financial and tax reports
• 6+ months of supporting junior Accountants
• Willing to work out of our Makati office, 5 days per week

NOT essential, but nice to have:

• Knowledge of UK accounting standards
• CPA

TPSSI works with GetGround by preparing year-end accounts for the 5,000+ limited companies. TPSSI operations are led by Mike (Makati) and Dan (UK) who you will work closely with on a daily basis.
