Position Overview
The Visa Officer is responsible for managing and processing visa applications for both outbound (employees/clients traveling abroad) and inbound (foreign nationals coming to the country) cases, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.

The Visa Officer is responsible for managing and processing visa applications for both outbound (employees/clients traveling abroad) and inbound (foreign nationals coming to the country) cases, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Visa Processing
- Process visa applications for employees, executives, and clients traveling to various countries
- Research and stay updated on visa requirements, documentation, and processing times for different countries
- Prepare and review visa application forms, supporting documents, and cover letters
- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa processing centers
- Track application status and follow up on pending cases
- Advise travelers on visa requirements, restrictions, and travel regulations
- Manage visa sponsorship and work permit applications for foreign nationals
- Coordinate with government immigration authorities and relevant agencies
- Prepare invitation letters, employment contracts, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with local immigration laws and labor regulations
- Monitor visa validity periods and coordinate renewals or extensions
- Maintain records of foreign employees' immigration status
- Maintain accurate databases and filing systems for all visa applications
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements
- Monitor changes in immigration policies and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Prepare reports on visa processing statistics and timelines
- Liaise with HR, travel departments, and external legal counsel
- Handle urgent or expedited visa requests
- Provide consultation and guidance on visa procedures
- Respond to inquiries regarding visa status and requirements
- Conduct briefings on immigration compliance and documentation requirements
- Troubleshoot visa-related issues and provide solutions
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Relations, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in visa processing, immigration services, or related field
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws and visa procedures for multiple countries
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and visa tracking systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with corporate immigration or travel management
- Certification in immigration consulting or related field
- Familiarity with visa categories (work permits, business visas, tourist visas, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
