About the Role
The Manager, Platform & Automation leads the Platform & Integrations and Automation & Workflow teams within the Digital Support & AI organization. This role ensures that the technical backbone of AI-powered support including system integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation, and infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose. You will manage a team of engineers and specialists, translating support and AI strategy into working platform solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead, hire, and develop the Platform & Integrations and Automation & Workflow teams
- Own the systems architecture and integration strategy across Salesforce, Zendesk, AWS Connect, and other core platforms
- Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of workflow automation flows and case resolution paths
- Ensure data pipelines between knowledge, case management, and AI systems are reliable and well-governed
- Partner with Knowledge & AI Manager, Digital Experience PM, and Intelligence & Analytics to ensure platform capabilities support organizational needs
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, and security across all integrated systems
- Manage vendor and tooling relationships relevant to the platform stack
- Translate business and support requirements into platform architecture decisions and roadmap priorities
- Track and report on platform uptime, automation efficiency, and integration health
What We Are Looking For
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems integration, or IT/support infrastructure
- 3+ years of people management experience with technical teams
- Strong background in CRM and support platforms Salesforce (including Flows), Zendesk, and AWS Connect
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining enterprise system integrations and automation workflows
- Experience with APIs, middleware, and data pipeline management in complex, multi-system environments
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure and what it takes to support LLM-based or agent-based solutions

- Systems architecture: designing scalable, resilient multi-platform environments
- Automation tools: Salesforce Flow, MuleSoft, or equivalent middleware and workflow platforms
- Process optimization: identifying inefficiencies and driving automation-based improvements
- Strong stakeholder communication able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Vendor management and tooling evaluation
