Support Analyst I-1

MRI Software

Date: 2 hours ago
City: Manila
Contract type: Full time

We’re looking for a thorough, production-minded professional to join our Background Screening operations team. In this role, you’ll support multiple internal departments by processing and researching the individual components that make up a complete background check — including employment and license verifications, motor vehicle records, drug test monitoring, and document management.

Background screening is a regulated, detail-intensive industry. Every record you process contributes directly to hiring decisions made by our US-based clients. Accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to meet daily throughput targets are non-negotiable in this role. If you thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment and take pride in getting it right the first time, this is the role for you.

This is not a voice-heavy or sales role. The majority of your work will be research-based, data entry-driven, and process-oriented — making it well-suited to candidates who prefer focused, independent production work over high-volume customer interaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and manage background check components across multiple internal operations queues, including document management, internet research, drug test result monitoring, professional license verification, and Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record retrieval

  • Conduct thorough online research using US government databases, licensing boards, state agency portals, and third-party sources to verify applicant credentials and records

  • Monitor and update drug test result statuses in the system, flagging exceptions or delays for review

  • Verify the active status of professional licenses across a wide range of industries and US jurisdictions

  • Retrieve and process motor vehicle records (MVRs) from state DMV sources in accordance with established procedures

  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation throughout the background check lifecycle

  • Meet daily key performance targets including keystroke-per-hour (KPH) and turnaround time standards

  • Handle all applicant and client data with strict confidentiality in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and internal data privacy policies

  • Participate in ongoing regulatory, compliance, and process training as required

  • Support additional operational tasks across departments as business needs evolve

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with strong accuracy — production metrics are a core part of this role

  • Exceptional attention to detail; you catch errors before they become problems

  • Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate unfamiliar US government and third-party websites efficiently

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive personal information with absolute discretion — background check data is highly confidential

  • Self-directed and production-focused; you manage your queue and meet daily targets without needing constant supervision

  • Comfortable toggling between multiple work queues and task types throughout the day

  • Strong reading comprehension skills — you’ll regularly interpret regulatory documents, state records, and licensing data

  • Good written English for internal documentation and occasional client or interdepartmental communication

  • Prior BPO experience in data processing, records management, healthcare information, insurance, or a compliance-adjacent back-office function is a strong advantage

  • Experience with US-based background screening platforms or knowledge of FCRA processes is a plus, though not required — full training provided

All work performed in this role is subject to FCRA compliance standards. Strict confidentiality of applicant and client data is
required at all times.
