We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Farm Operations Manager to lead swine farm operations, ensuring strict adherence to biosecurity standards while maintaining optimal livestock health and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce and monitor compliance with all biosecurity protocols.
  • Conduct daily inspections to assess the health and condition of animals.
  • Identify and treat sick animals promptly to prevent further issues.
  • Diagnose diseases or abnormalities through careful physical and behavioral observation and determine appropriate treatments.
  • Monitor and record mortality and morbidity rates across assigned areas, analyzing data for improvements.
  • Supervise vaccination programs in line with established procedures.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the Wean-to-Finish process.
  • Develop and manage work schedules to ensure sufficient staffing.
  • Coordinate and consult with the Farm Manager regarding operational concerns needing attention.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support farm operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
  • At least 78 years of managerial experience in swine farm operations.
  • Willing to stay onsite at the farm located in Argao or Pinamungajan.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Above-average written and verbal communication abilities.
