Workday Lead
As a Team Lead for Global Workday HR Services team, you will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team in delivering seamless, scalable, and compliant HR services across the global organization. This team is responsible for managing Workday HR processing activities that support the organization worldwide. Building upon a deep understanding of Workday and core HR processes, you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of HR operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory standards. In this role, you will oversee service delivery and governance, issue resolution, and innovation efforts as you partner with HR, IT and business leaders to enhance system, support business transformation, and future-proof HR operation framework. AT the same time, driving a culture of ownership and accountability throughout the organization, champion deep end-to-end process insight and apply a visionary entrepreneurial mindset combined with strategic thinking to architect and lead transformative solutions that bring impact and value to the organization.

Roles And Responsibilities
Strategic Service Delivery & Operations Leadership
- Lead end-to-end Workday HR operations including employee life cycle management, organizational changes, Talent and Performance Management, and Workday Learning.
- Responsible and Accountable for the overall performance and outcome of the team, including meeting all defined KPIs, SLAs, and operational goals.
- Analyze operational dashboards to track key performance indicators and service metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement to drive adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
- Conduct detailed analysis of performance data to evaluate team productivity, process efficiency, error rates, and customer satisfaction levels. Use findings to develop targeted action plans for continuous improvement.
- Lead operational readiness for large-scale initiatives ensuring minimal disruption to service.
- Promote a customer-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional, end-to-end service to the organization.
- Champion strong governance through proactive internal controls (ICS), audit preparedness, and policy adherence.
- Monitor and mitigate operational and compliance risks through preventive actions and systemic improvements.
- Manage business continuity planning and ensure organizational readiness in crisis scenarios.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for critical operational or system issues; ensure effective root cause analysis and timely resolution.
- Guide cross-functional collaboration with HR, IT, and business units to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
- Drive high-impact process improvement and automation projects, leveraging lean methodologies and digital tools.
- Champion process standardization, automation, and optimization to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of Workday HR operations.
- Promote a mindset of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across the team.
- Lead and develop a global team of Workday HR Processors aligned with the GBS framework, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Guide, coach and develop employees, leveraging input from Work Leads and peer feedback.
- Collaborate with Capability Experts and Work Leaders to define skill-building priorities and support long-term career growth across teams.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, compensation, and promotions.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and ownership and accountability culture that drives transformative solutions that bring impact and value to the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, translating operational insights into strategic actions.
- Represent HR Operations in global forums and contribute to the design and rollout of enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
- 5 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HRIS (preferably Workday); and at least 3 years experiencein people leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and global HR processes, systems and tools within the various stages of employee lifecycle
- Extensive experience leading HR operations or Workday teams within a Shared Services or global service delivery environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong service delivery orientation with experience in identification, design, and implementation of KPIs that suit organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management, process improvement, and system implementation initiatives.
- Experienced in managing teams and working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire, develop, and drive a culture of ownership and accountability throughout the team.
- Demonstrated a visionary entrepreneurial mindset combined with strategic thinking to architect and lead transformative solutions that bring impact and value to the organization.
