What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute test cases (system, integration, acceptance, regression, smoke, exploratory)
- Log, prioritize, track, and retest defects
- Assist in test data setup and environment management
- Report test progress verbally and in writing
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers
- Follow test schedules and adhere to QA processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (black-box/white-box, system/integration/acceptance testing)
- 1–2 years in software testing or related roles
- Experience or interest in various technologies; customer service background is a plus
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Quick learner with a curious mindset and growth-driven attitude
- Logical, process-oriented, and able to think creatively
- Excellent time management, teamwork, and integrity
- Reports to Senior Test Analysts, Test Manager, or Principal Consultant
- Works alongside fellow Test Analysts, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers
- Develops key competencies: requirements analysis, test design, defect management, risk assessment, planning, execution, and reporting
- Global KPI goals: active participation, process improvements, knowledge growth, internal networking, and timely timesheet updates
- Career track: Opportunity to advance to Test Analyst or Hybrid Test Analyst
