Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update patient records in Dentrix or other Dental EMR/EHR, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups and recall appointments.
Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
Coordinate with the dental team to manage patient flow and ensure a smooth virtual check-in and check-out process.
Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries as needed.
Maintain a high level of organization and prioritize tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the dental practice.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the dental office.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of HANDS ON experience as a VIRTUAL dental assistant or in a similar role within a dental office.
Proficiency in using Dentrix/Eagle Soft/Open Dental medical records system is required.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices.
Strong customer service skills and a patient-centric approach.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace conducive to handling patient calls and tasks.
Benefits:
Hourly Compensation: $5/hr for first 6 mo and $6/hr after 6 mo of probation
HMO Benefits after 6 months of probation

Technical Requirements Operating System: Windows 10 Pro at 32/64-bit - *Genuine CPU: Intel Core i5 8th gen and above or AMD equivalent Memory: at least 8GB RAM Power Backup (Power pack): Its RECOMMENDED to have a gasoline powered Generator able to support laptop for at least 4 hours in case of power outage Internet subscription/speed: At least 50 Mbps (DSL/Fiber only); LTE connection not accepted Headset w/ mic (Recommended: Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset) Webcam: HD 720p/1080p (Recommended: A4Tech PK-910H) External monitor screen, 17,19 or 22 inch in size
