Job Title: Real Estate Financial Accountant

Location: Remote (EST Time Zones)

Salary Range: up to 1650 USD

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations, including overseeing the general ledger, financial reporting for real estate properties, investment vehicles, and an in-house property management firm. This role involves delivering timely financial statements, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring all financial records comply with GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger functions, including entries and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely financial statements and internal reports for management and stakeholders.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate and updated.
• Lender Reporting: Prepare necessary financial documentation and reports for lenders as required.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to optimize financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  
  
  

Software Proficiency:

• Microsoft Excel: Required for financial analysis and reporting.
• QuickBooks (or equivalent accounting software): Must have experience using accounting software for daily operations.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Education: Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Experience in real estate investment firms or property management.
