About The Role
Our in-house media team is the creative engine for the Axos brand. We’re looking for a Video Editor who is not just a technician, but a storyteller at heart. In this role, you will be a key creative partner to our Video Production Specialist, transforming raw footage into compelling, brand-aligned content that engages and inspires audiences across our channels.
You will have the opportunity to shape everything from national ad campaigns and social-first videos to narrative-driven brand stories. If you have a passion for visual narrative, a deep understanding of modern post-production workflows, and the creative instinct to craft polished and purposeful content, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Transform raw footage into polished, compelling narratives for advertisements, interviews, explainers, social media content, and internal communications.
- Execute professional color correction and cinematic color grading to ensure visual consistency and excellence.
- Shape the story and pacing of each project with a sharp eye for visual rhythm, shot composition, and narrative clarity.
- Create and integrate on-brand motion graphics, lower thirds, and animated titles using Adobe After Effects.
- Iterate and craft versions for testing and varietal placements across different channels utilizing different lengths (e.g. 6/10/15-second cutdowns with A/B elements such as intros, CTAs, text onscreen and more)
- Design and mix audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to create an immersive and impactful viewing experience.
- Own the post-production pipeline by organizing media, managing project timelines, and facilitating revisions using tools like Frame.io.
- Collaborate closely with producers and creative stakeholders to understand the vision, effectively incorporate feedback, and ensure the final product exceeds expectations.
- Enhance video deliverables operationally and strategically through the use of AI tools.
- What You Bring (Qualifications)
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in video post-production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on branded content.
- A deep, technical mastery of the post-production process, including RAW workflows (specifically BRAW), codecs, formats, color spaces, and delivery best practices.
- Exceptional visual storytelling skills, with a proven ability to edit for both emotional and strategic impact. Preferred: experience utilizing AI in video storytelling.
- Meticulous organization and dependability; you are comfortable owning project timelines and managing multiple edits simultaneously without sacrificing quality. Preferred: project management tool experience (ideally Workfront – other acceptable options: Asan, ClickUp, Monday.com, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you can interpret creative briefs, clearly articulate your ideas, and work constructively with producers, creatives, and executives.
- A collaborative and feedback-friendly spirit, coupled with the self-motivation to work independently.
- High attention to detail and the adaptability to pivot quickly between different project types and fast-turnaround deadlines.
