About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of video editing techniques. You will be responsible for crafting compelling video content for a variety of platforms, working on projects for brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit video footage to create engaging and impactful narratives, ensuring alignment with the creative brief and client objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with creative directors, copywriters, art directors, and other team members throughout the production process.
  • Perform post-production tasks, including color correction, audio mixing, sound design, and adding special effects.
  • Work with various video formats and resolutions, optimizing content for different platforms (e.g., social media, broadcast, web).
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing.
  • Manage project timelines and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to identify and resolve any technical issues or errors.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute innovative ideas to enhance video content.
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and a strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and composition.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
