We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President Payments Operations and Delivery Lead
Roleholder is responsible in leading, managing, and transforming payment’s processing and operations functions (including oversight of GSC support team/s) to deliver high-quality, efficient, and risk-compliant services. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of payments & remittances, drives continuous improvement and automation, and aligns operations with strategic and regulatory objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee end-to-end payments operations, including domestic, cross-border, remittances, correspondent banking, inward and outward payments.
- Ensure day-to-day operational activities meet defined service level agreements (SLAs), quality, accuracy, and cost targets.
- Define and drive the transformation roadmap for payment operations, including automation, digitization, and platform modernization.
- Securing of necessary budget through coordination with relevant regional (ASP) stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of projects
- Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring compliance to regulations and internal policies
- Manage operational risks, including identifying and mitigating control failures, ensuring audit findings are addressed, overseeing business continuity, disaster recovery plans.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and develop succession planning
- Continuously recognize good performance and assist staff to achieve improvement plans where necessary
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:.
• Degree holder
• Excellent management skills
• Can work and deliver under pressure with minimal supervision required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledgeable of using project management tools and techniques n improving processes
• Ove average interpersonal skills; can work, influence with business and stakeholders
• Driven, results-oriented, and has good analytical thinking
