Your Role:

As a CPA Tax Advisor, you will:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.
• Conduct thorough tax research to stay current with changing tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in IRS audits, representing them and providing necessary documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and consultation.
• Analyze financial statements and ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements.
• Identify potential tax credits and deductions to optimize client tax outcomes.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide comprehensive financial planning.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all tax transactions and correspondence.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on tax-related matters.
• Monitor and implement any changes in tax legislation affecting clients.
• Offer strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and other financial decisions from a tax perspective.

What You Need:

(Non-negotiables)

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• US Tax Accounting experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax advisory or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Experience in tax planning and strategy development.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Continuing education and professional development in tax laws and accounting practices.
