Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused individual to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients, and perform the following tasks:

  • Patient Check-in and Check-out: Welcome patients with a friendly demeanor, verify and update insurance information, collect co-payments, and efficiently schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Insurance Support: Verify patient insurance benefits, including coverage details, co-pays, deductibles, and authorization requirements, and ensuring patient understanding.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain and update patient records, answer phone calls (inbound/outbound), respond to emails, manage faxes (e.g. initial evaluation notes, daily notes, and referrals), and manage office correspondence to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Patient Support and Customer Service: Address patient inquiries, resolve concerns professionally, and provide clear information about clinic services, appointments, and healthcare policies to enhance the patient experience.

Site Location:

  • Davao Site - 4F & 5F, La Cima Building, JLN, 2, Palma Gil St, Poblacion District, Davao City

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a US private doctor's clinic setting preferred.
  • Must have experience in EMR, EHR, insurance verification, patient confirmation, and inbound/outbound calling
  • Experience in medical billing and coding is a plus!
  • Soft skills such as empathy are essential as you may be talking to people who have medical issues
  • Proficient in both written and verbal English
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be willing to work onsite
  • Must be willing to turn on the camera to warmly welcome clinic patients
