ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for providing back-office support and financial bookkeeping for their businesses.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (1:00 AM – 10:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Handle bookkeeping
  • Create monthly finance reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, intercompany transfers, etc.)
  • Generate monthly sales and inventory reports from Shopify
  • Generate quarterly, half-yearly, and annual property performance reports
  • Produce a monthly report of expenses
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and expenses
  • Process orders and enter orders from wholesale customers into Shopify
  • Transcribe hand orders into the system
  • Send invoices and follow up on unpaid invoices
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Send payments to vendors
  • Maintain a ledger of investments
  • Keep QuickBooks updated
  • Create investor return statements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is an advantage
  • Experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, order processing, accounts payable and receivable, and ledger management
  • Experience with Shopify, Faire, Etsy, and QuickBooks Online and Desktop, including QBD to QBO conversion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for CSV (comma-separated values) data manipulation
  • Experience with Buildium and Appfolio property management systems
  • Able to establish connections with banks, manage software, and perform clerical back-office support
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
