ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for providing back-office support and financial bookkeeping for their businesses.
WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (1:00 AM – 10:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handle bookkeeping
- Create monthly finance reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, intercompany transfers, etc.)
- Generate monthly sales and inventory reports from Shopify
- Generate quarterly, half-yearly, and annual property performance reports
- Produce a monthly report of expenses
- Prepare accounts receivable reports
- Reconcile bank statements and expenses
- Process orders and enter orders from wholesale customers into Shopify
- Transcribe hand orders into the system
- Send invoices and follow up on unpaid invoices
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Send payments to vendors
- Maintain a ledger of investments
- Keep QuickBooks updated
- Create investor return statements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is an advantage
- Experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliation, order processing, accounts payable and receivable, and ledger management
- Experience with Shopify, Faire, Etsy, and QuickBooks Online and Desktop, including QBD to QBO conversion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for CSV (comma-separated values) data manipulation
- Experience with Buildium and Appfolio property management systems
- Able to establish connections with banks, manage software, and perform clerical back-office support
- Experience in a multi-client environment
- Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
- Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
- Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
