Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day activities of a team in pursuing research and data monetization opportunities, as well as organizing existing data research files and activities
  • Reviews and ensures the Team's strict compliance to define processes in research activities and data monetization partnerships
  • Reviews and approves or disapproves research proposals submitted by the team
  • Reviews and endorses to Immediate Superior, the pricing, data insights to be generated, etc. Recommended by the team to ensure closure of a research partnership
  • Plans, monitors and reviews implementation of research activities and data monetization partnerships
  • Reviews and escalates or endorses recommendation to Immediate Superior regarding any concern related to the research activities and data monetization partnerships
  • Reviews and ensures completeness of all related documents regarding new leads, closed research activities and data monetization partnerships
  • Plans, monitors and evaluates performance of team in the achievement of the targets and identified KRAs and KPIs; ensures the Team's compliance to the primary deliverables, company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Reviews performance and conducts coaching, mentoring or meetings to improve on competency gaps of the team
  • Collaborates with the Utilization Management team and other Medical departments to discuss operational concerns
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, market gaps, and opportunities that align with Maxicare’s data monetization strategy
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with key partners to enhance Maxicare’s research activities and expand its market presence in the data monetization space
  • Identify and assess opportunities for partnerships, joint research projects, and other data monetization pursuits, preparing detailed business cases and financial models to support decision-making.

Experience And Training

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate strategy, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields. MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Other educational backgrounds that can be considered include MSc or PhD in Public Health, Health Informatics, Health Economics, or related field
  • Preferred industry orientation: Research and Data Management, Healthcare, Insurance, FMCG, or any service-oriented industry
  • Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and executing business partnerships, growth initiatives, or strategic projects.
  • Experience in market analysis, financial modeling, and business case development
