Technical Underwriting
- To assist the underwriter in the renewal process for policy/account renewals.
- Please review and forward with Verita all new and renewal business submissions from brokers and ensure all required information is provided, in case of missing
- information, contact the Broker via email or phone call
- Assist the underwriter in pricing the risk, rating the policy premium and preparing the quote and binder.
- To review the policy for accuracy in comparison with the binder, send the reviewed policy to the broker within the required time frame; Also coordinate with Veritas in case of query or rectification of policy.
- Assist WTW NA Centers National Accounting Center (NAC) with any questions or problems concerning premium payment plans/instalment plans.
- To assist the Verita Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Legal in typing/proofing policy forms, endorsements and other documents.
The Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- Experience with commercial insurance or property and casualty insurance underwriting.
- Experience working with Carriers, Insurers, Brokers, and Underwriters.
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Data interpretation
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience insurance broking a must
- Preferred CISR, AICPCU or CII-certified
- Willing to work on-site and follows night shift
