Trucking Dispatcher

We are seeking a Trucking Dispatcher to join our team at Remote VA. This position is crucial in coordinating and managing transportation logistics to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the trucking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements
• Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers
• Maintain communication with drivers to provide assistance and solve any issues that may arise during transit
• Coordinate load assignments and track the status of deliveries to ensure on-time service
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to scheduling or deliveries
• Utilize dispatching software and tracking systems to maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety
