Duties and Responsibilities
The Training Specialist is expected to perform the following duties with moderate or limited supervision:
Basic Scope
Conduct studies / develop programs in relation to Home SSPM or HOME initiatives as assigned by the Training Team Head or Division Head
Perform other related tasks as assigned from time-to-time.
- Bachelor's degree holder or graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in Behavioral Sciences, Psychology. Communication Arts
Work Experience
- With at least one (1) year experience as Jr. Training Specialist or any related position or preferably with at least three (3) years experience in training, sales, and/or customer service
- Product Knowledge (or any related training)
- Effective Business Presentation Workshop
- Advanced Effective Business Presentation Workshop
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Capacity to train
- Ability to develop training modules
- Basic knowledge of Learning Management System maintenance
- With excellent oral & written skills
- With good moral character
- Must possess professional integrity relative to his job
- Should be flexible and able to work well under pressure
- Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated & positive

- Category/Product-focused training
- Training materials development
- Knowledge Update
- eLearning Maintenance
- Sales Support
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to determine appropriate training method for specific Marketing update
- Facilitate category-specific training to Training Champions through Train-The-Trainer (TTT) sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness by:
- Surveys
- Skills observation
- Ensure self-mastery of category/product
- Develop training materials based on TNA
- Customize modules, product and non-product, to fit training needs
- Create assessments based on appropriate training methods
- Ensure timely delivery of training materials to Training Champions
- Update AlaminNew segment
- Update Sales Kit
- Update Menu Card & Product Detailers
- Update Other Pertinent References
- Create online modules using eLearning database
- Develop online knowledge checks/assessments using eLearning database
- Update eLearning database files as necessary
- Co-develop events & facilitate conduct as needed by sales (i.e. FLA Assembly, CSF Kamustahan, etc)
- Co-manage the HSD Academy to ensure developmental growth & training of all retail sales personnel
Conduct studies / develop programs in relation to Home SSPM or HOME initiatives as assigned by the Training Team Head or Division Head
Perform other related tasks as assigned from time-to-time.
