Role Overview

You'll be supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with ownership of cash flow tracking, budget monitoring, and the accuracy of our financial data. This role plays a key part in keeping our finance function organised and reliable – improving visibility for leadership, tightening processes, and ensuring our accounting systems accurately reflect how the business is actually performing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage weekly cash flow tracking, forecasting, and variance alerts
• Monitor cash implications of operational decisions, supplier costs, and revenue timing
• Maintain and clean accounting software (labels, chart of accounts, reconciliations, audit trails)
• Prepare monthly spend summaries and support budget vs. actual reporting
• Support future budget creation through data gathering and model upkeep
• Reconcile bank transactions, invoices, and payment flows
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure correct coding and timely approvals
• Assist with month-end close tasks and finance documentation
• Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and propose improvements

Profile

• Curious, improvement-driven mindset; not afraid to question unclear data
