What are you expected to do?

• Craft at scale: Develop and maintain complex, high-performance front-end applications with React (functional components, hooks, and state management).
• Map the world: Integrate geospatial tools like Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri into intuitive, interactive web experiences.
• Boost speed: Optimize application performance across devices and browsers with profiling and build tuning using Webpack, Lighthouse, and more.
• Design with impact: Deliver responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible interfaces that users love.
• Bridge data and design: Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL seamlessly.
• Code with agility: Drive progress in Agile teamssprint planning, daily standups, and peer code reviews included.
• Ship with confidence: Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and keep releases reliable.
• Go cloud-first: Build and deploy within AWS environments like Amplify, S3, and CloudFront.
  
  
  

Youll be a great fit if:

• You have 5+ years of experience building production-ready applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• You master Reactusing hooks, state/store patterns, and performance optimizations to deliver lightning-fast UIs.
• You bring hands-on experience with geospatial mapping libraries like Mapbox, Google Maps API, or Esri, turning complex data into interactive visuals.
• You design responsively and code with accessibility in mind, ensuring every user has a seamless experience.
• You know how to profile, debug, and optimize performance with modern tools to keep apps smooth at scale.
• You integrate with REST APIs and GraphQL effortlessly, bridging data and design.
• You thrive in Agile teams, commit clean code through Git workflows, and collaborate to ship features faster.
  
  
  

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• You understand geospatial data formats like GeoJSON, Shapefiles, and KMZ, and can turn complex spatial data into actionable insights.
• You bring exposure to telecom or utility network planning and infrastructure workflows, connecting data to real-world operations.
• You are familiar with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, bridging the gap between concept and execution.
• You have hands-on experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and advanced state management using React Query or Redux to build scalable, high-performance applications.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
