Who we are

Brivity VA, a brand of PLACE, is looking for a self-starting Title Examiner for our Title Company. In this capacity, you will review search packages, prepare commitments, manage incoming communication from abstractors and submit Letter of Indemnity requests. If you are someone who prides themselves on providing outstanding communication and best-in-class service to all parties involved in each transaction and internal colleagues, then the Title Examiner position is for you!

What is expected of you

  • Review search packages and issue title commitments
  • Evaluate and identify issues that require escalation to underwriting counsel and document files with necessary underwriter approvals
  • Manage pipeline of assigned files via reporting analytics and assigned tasking
  • Consistently notate your files in the closing platform with updated status ensure both client facing and internal systems have accurate and update information
  • Manage incoming communication from abstractors and update internal systems as necessary
  • Submit Letter of Indemnity requests to underwriters and maintain a database of contact information for those requests

What you need to possess

  • You have 2-3 years of experience as a title examiner, multi-state experience preferred.
  • You have a track record of providing excellent customer service to clients and work well with escrow operations team members
  • You take ownership of your files and produce quality work within assign deadlines
  • You are excited about growth in a company, and welcome change and new ways of doing things
  • You like leveraging technology to do your job more efficiently, and have implemented new processes or workflows in previous roles
  • You are a flexible team member and can jump in to help other team member even if it is out of your normal job scope
  • You are extremely detail oriented, and have a track record of being thorough in your approach with files
  • You have a proactive approach to your job and are always looking for ways to improve your department and/or the company as a whole

How you can join the team

Our selection and assessment process is not for the faint of heart. It is tedious but just. It takes some time but it is absolutely worth it as it sets you up for success from Day 1.

Step 1: Career Consultation | In this step, you meet with our career consultants for about 30-45 minutes to discuss the job opportunities in our organization relative to the ones you are looking for. We also make sure that you have the right technology to carry out the job from the comfort of your home.

Step 2: Brivity Bootcamp | In this step, we equip you with information about our platform, Brivity, and assess your ability to apply this knowledge in a simulated real estate environment. The entire bootcamp runs for two weeks with screen-in assessment at the end of every week. As you will be supporting our platform users, it is imperative that you pass all the assessments required during this step.

Step 3: Client Match | While in Brivity Bootcamp, you will be given the opportunity to meet with potential clients. During this time, you are empowered to assess each job opportunity we present to you. Our intention is to get you matched to a client the soonest time possible!

Salary: Up to Php 67,500 per month depending on skill/experience
