As a Test Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality, focusing on strategic oversight of testing functions while actively participating in hands-on testing activities.

Your Role

As the Test Manager at InspireX, you will oversee the testing function and directly engage with the testing activities yourself. This position involves setting the strategy for testing processes and embedding quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle, while also remaining deeply involved in the execution of testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and implement testing strategies, including manual and automated testing, performance assessments, and security validations.
• Mentor, and expand a team of QA professionals, setting clear objectives and fostering career growth and development.
• Remain hands-on, actively participating in the execution of test cases, automation scripts, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure integration of the testing function into Agile/Scrum processes, optimizing quality assurance across all phases of software development.
• Define and oversee quality metrics to evaluate effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Stay at the forefront of testing tools and methodologies, advocating for and adopting innovations that advance our capabilities.
• Manage communication across project teams to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technological advancement within the testing function.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with substantial experience managing complex testing activities.
• Strong practical involvement in testing activities, with expertise in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across various teams.
• Detail-oriented with a steadfast focus on quality.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
• Previous exposure to the AV industry or related fields.
• Experience in testing for audio-visual systems and softwares, including integration testing, performance tests, regression tests and other related tests for software applications, web applications, websites, cloud and mobile apps.
