Test Engineer
Support the automated test equipment activities that include set-up, software development, automation, document preparation, indirect material, and tool identification.
Support operation through characterization of circuit protection devices and executing tests for customers and end-user applications.

Test Engineer
Support the automated test equipment activities that include set-up, software development, automation, document preparation, indirect material, and tool identification.
Support operation through characterization of circuit protection devices and executing tests for customers and end-user applications.
About The Job
- Responsible for testing and characterizing circuit protection products.
- Develop test systems based on input from various teams using standard equipment and custom electronics.
- Create test programs to automate/improve systems using tools like Labview, Visual Basic, etc.
- Assemble test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, meters, etc.) for necessary tests.
- Prepare documents such as proposals, presentations, and training materials.
- Set up and execute customer-required tests.
- Communicate test status and results through systems and direct contact.
- Maintain strong relationships with teams and colleagues.
- Perform system maintenance on test equipment as needed.
- Keep the lab clean and organized, and manage inventory and purchase requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Test Engineering in electronics/semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics, circuit protection, and semiconductors.
- Familiar with test equipment control and data acquisition via GPIB, USB, or Ethernet.
- Skilled in programming with languages like Labview, Visual Basic, C/C++, or similar.
- Experienced in using power supplies, oscilloscopes, ESD guns, data acquisition units, and other electronic tools.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of circuit response to transients (ESD/EFT, Lightning).
- Proficient in statistics, Six Sigma, and DOE.
- Experience in designing test fixtures (PCB and mechanical design).
- Hands-on experience designing and assembling test equipment in lab or manufacturing environments.
