The Equipment Engineer is essential in making the operations up and running by ensuring availability and efficient functionality of all equipment and tools.
- Leads and communicates the plan and schedule for preventive maintenance of equipment prioritizing laser equipment and the like to requestors.
- Provides solutions, organizes, and directs the maintenance work of technicians on escalated issues related to equipment engineering activities.
- Designates line assignment during troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Designs improvement or automation of machine whether build or acquire externally.
- Reviews and interprets data derived from measuring equipment.
- Monitors maintenance and breakdown reports and generates machine performance reports.
- Assesses machine efficiency and cost effectiveness and identifies improvement activities.
- Monitor, assess, classifies, conducts inventory, and ensures availability of machine spare parts.
- Ensures company-wide compliance of ESD policy and procedure; trains and assists team members on ESD related activities.
- Creates PM procedures and work instructions as required.
- Executes, contributes to, and participates in 5S activities within assigned station/area.
- Review and revise any changes related to Equipment Document such as Job Aid , FMEA ,WI , etc..
- Perform other related duties as maybe required.
